Mae sure you wear a rash t shirt or vest along with sunscreen while snorkeling to avoid sunburn.

Paje area in the eastern coast of Zanzibar is a popular destination for kite surfers. The island is a popular destination with members of kite surfing communities from all over the world. Parasailing is a relatively recent addition to Zanzibar’s activities. There are a good number of excellent locations available, especially on the Nungwi Island, in the north.

Big game fishing

Big Game fishing is another popular activity in Zanzibar, with the waters of the Indian Ocean filled with a range of fish such as king fish, tuna and marlin. It is possible to rent a boat as well as a skipper.

There are a number of top diving locations as well as a number of PADI approved diving schools on offer. There are advanced as well as beginner sites for divers.
