Magical Kenya Travel Expo (MKTE) 2018 began Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 at Kenyatta International Convention Centre. The CS Najib Balala officially opened the #MKTE2018 by welcoming all attendees including the various dignitaries to the 8th edition of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony the Cs Najib Balala mentioned that #MKTE2018 aims at showcasing the products that are available in the region and that by 2024 Kenya will have a train from Mombasa to Kisumu.
He was keen to mention on the developments we can look forward to in Kenya. “We are trying to open Nairobi as a destination,” he added.

The objective of the Magical Kenya Travel Expo that runs till Friday, 5th October is to showcase the different products we can offer our visitors noted Dr Betty Radier, Kenya Tourism Board CEO.
“This year, we have recorded 185 exhibitors up from 140 that participated last year. The number of hosted buyers at #MKTE 2018 has risen to 150 up from 132 recorded last year,” Radier said.
