Travel Delights in Carthage

Carthage is the capital of the Phoenician Government and the Government in Rome in the southern part of the Mediterranean Sea. It has a strategic location with irresistible scenic delights and magnificent visual beauty. The Roman ruins and architecture are a visual delight with the best sights of amazing constructions and stupendous glamour.

Get to see some of the most fascinating amphitheaters shaped staircase, which is a place for the best kind of theatrical performances during the Roman era. You also get to see the Punic Ports here along with the lovely garden city of Antoni baths. This is a magnanimous city of the Punic and the Phoenician period and is the main base of a powerful trading empire, which extends around the whole of South Mediterranean and has a considerable population.

It had the very famous Hannibal as its general and history has it that he crossed the Alps to fight with the Romans. Hannibal faced his defeat here and thus the Punic War ended. Antonin Baths is a beautiful Roman city with the best of Roman bath ruins and have few old houses, a chapel, some Punicklins, mosaics, and some graves. The site also has a Punic cemetery along with some old houses, graves, chapels, and mosaics.

Then you could visit the Carthage Museum where you would get the remnants of ruins excavated from the early eras of Roman and Punic. This museum is open for all and it gives the best views of the city and the coast. Get to see the church, chapel, public library, and many other coffins and mosaics.

The Acropolium and the Water Cisterns along with the amphitheater are other attractions providing ideal pleasures in Northern Africa.
